  • We send carefully curated books.
  • We provide financial support for the canteen so women can purchase the basic items they need.
  • We conduct wellness visits to ensure our sisters are safe and well & MORE!

Program

A 12-month personal and professional development program designed to equip formerly incarcerated women with equitable skills, resources, and support essential for reentering society and thriving in community

In this program, participants will:
  • Join a community of formerly incarcerated women committed to self-improvement and creating a better life for themselves and their families
  • Participate in engaging personal development activities that will strengthen their own intrapersonal and interpersonal skills
  • Understand the importance of building economic mobility and deepening their financial literacy
  • Build career readiness skills essential for the evolving global workforce
  • Gain access to long-term employment opportunities aligned with their personal career aspirations

Families First

We address critical gaps in financial support for children and families of incarcerated loved ones by offering rapid response funding and grants so children and families can thrive.

We financially support families in the following ways:

Rapid Response Funding

Emergency financial support for caregivers taking care of children whose parent is incarcerated, children of an incarcerated parent, and partners/spouses of an incarcerated person

Pay it forward Funding

We offer grants to children of an incarcerated parent to support their social-emotional, educational, or professional development. Some examples of how grant funding can be used:

  • Extracurricular after school activities (sports, arts, music lessons)
  • Tutoring or exam-prep classes (SAT/ACT prep)
  • Tuition and book fees
  • Software Development Bootcamp
  • Start-up business funding

We support our incarcerated sisters by being advocates and ensuring they are well, socially, emotionally, and financially.

We build sisterhood in the following ways:
  • We send carefully curated books.
  • We provide financial support for the canteen so women can purchase the basic items they need.
  • We conduct wellness visits to ensure our sisters are safe and well.
  • We advocate on our sisters’ behalf during times in need.
